Spicy Lime Cranberry Sauce

I grew up on whole berry cranberry sauce, and it was always one of my favorite parts of the Holidays. My husband never liked it, so I knew I had to come up with a great version to change his mind. Ingredients:
*1 bag fresh cranberries
*1 c water
*1 c sugar
*1 lime, zested and juiced
*1 jalapeño, minced (very spicy, less for less spicy!)

Method:
*Bring all ingredients to a boil in a sauce pan
*Reduce to a simmer
*Simmer until thick, about 20 minutes
*Chill for at least 8 hours or overnight
